It's funny how I seem to update this thing in spurts. I'll try not to leave everyone hanging for a month and then randomly update three times in one day. Although, sadly, that probably is more suiting.
Anyways, I'm working on three projects (four if you count the continual BRINE animation). And I'm internally trying to prioritize them. One of them is a collaboration project I've shelved for probably close to a year that really is almost finished and just needs that last final push over the hill. It's another childrens book--this time about a whale, and it was written by my good friend Pat Buecheler.
So I think thats first on the list. Partly because it sort of has seniority over the others, but also because its nearly done anyways. Next up is a graphic novel that I've outlined and written partially. It has a lot of potential and could be something I could finally use as an excuse to get a table at the Pittsburgh comic con. It would be a metric assload of work, but I think is probably the project that deep down I most want to do. And then we have ANOTHER children's book that I wrote (or am in the process of writing anyhow) about evolution. It would be aimed at kids about eight or so--a bigger project by far than what I've done in this arena--but I wanted to put something together that would be the polar opposite of those awful tracts religious people hand out to try and decrease the overall level of human knowledge in the world. Call this the project I feel I have a moral obligation to create.
Oh and I just remembered I also have plans to put a little web comic together. So that's another one on the pile. Plus whatever freelance I can snag. Well, as the Patrician says "Don't let me detain you."
